ARANCINI BALLS (WITH GRASS FED BEEF)

The festive season is upon us. End of year school celebrations, work functions and Chrissy parties all make for a busy time of year. Handmade arancini balls made with grass fed beef that are available in Torello’s take home meal freezer are a great go to for sharing plates at end of year celebrations. Or serve with a salad and an easy dinner is sorted.

How to cook arancini:

Spread the frozen balls over a baking tray and place in a pre-heated 130°C oven. Cook for 25 minutes or until the crumb coating is golden and crunchy and the centre is heated through to steamy hot. See the packet for further instructions for an air-fryer.

Serving ideas:

  • Arancinis are great with a sauce for dipping like one of Torello Farm’s pestos, pesto with a swirl of Greek yoghurt or mayonnaise or Torello Farm’s apple & chilli sauce.

  • Serve arancini as part of an antipasto platter.

  • Serve as a snack for times like afterschool munchies, play dates, watching movies or an easy quick lunch.

  • For a sandwich, slice Miller Bakery’s ciabatta across-ways. Grill the cut sides, then slather with a sauce like pesto, top with sliced tomato and squashed arancini balls.
