BEEF BONE BROTH WITH GREENS & DUMPLINGS

With Torello Farm’s ready made grass fed beef bone broth and sui mai dumplings, this soup is incredibly quick and easy to make, but so nutritious and delicious.

serves 2

1 packet Torello Farm Sui Mai beef or vegetable dumplings (8 in a pack)

500ml Torello Farm bone broth

2 teaspoons Shaoxing rice wine (find in Asian section of supermarket)

1 star anise (optional)

¼ teaspoon ground turmeric (optional)

1 bunch Chinese broccoli, cut across stem and leaves into 1cm wide pieces

1 spring onion, thinly sliced

2 teaspoons soy sauce

Prepare the dumplings as per packet instructions.

While the dumplings are steaming, place the bone broth, Shaoxing, and the turmeric and star anise if using, in a medium saucepan over a high heat. Bring to a boil. Add the broccoli stems then lower the heat to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes. Add the broccoli leaves, spring onion and soy sauce.

Transfer the dumplings to the bowls. Ladle the hot soup into the bowls. Serve with extra soy, to taste.
